Johnson poems back in print

I enjoyed reading Joann Gardner's article about Marjorie Johnson ("Marjorie Johnson: Bailey Island's favorite poet," November) and I'd like to add that her book, "Songs from an Island," is, at last, available in a reprint edition.

Never Not Amazed: On gratitude

I love a magic moment. Not the cocktail or the song but the warmth, strength and connection — a fleeting and magical sense of deep peace from knowing I'm in the exact right place at the exact right time.

Imperative that young people vote

I'm a Bowdoin College student, born and raised in Woolwich. I believe it is imperative that young people in our Maine communities vote and recognize the importance of educating themselves on local and national politics.
