It's March. Daylight saving time returns and the first day of spring is coming. The return of longer days and warmer weather is always welcome in Maine. One date I noticed on my calendar is March 9. It is National Crabmeat Day!

It's February and that means Valentine's Day, the original share-the-love event. One immediately thinks of someone in their life that they love. When I was a child in elementary school, my mother would buy a box of inexpensive valentine cards to "send" to classmates.
