Lorette A. Holske, 71, of Topsham, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Dec. 7, 2025. Born on July 2, 1954, she was the cherished only daughter of Arthur and Phyllis (Mortimer) Williams.

Helen Kitchel

Helen Kitchel, devoted aunt, sister, friend and teacher, passed away at 76 on Orr's Island, Maine, on Dec. 5, 2025. She was born in Philadelphia on Nov. 17, 1949, to Catherine Brackin Kitchel and H. Sheldon Kitchel.

Bill Mangum

William Howard "Bill" Mangum Jr. died at his home in Harpswell, Maine, on Friday, Nov. 28, 2025. Born Sept. 23, 1944, in Wake Forest, North Carolina, Bill was the son of William Howard Mangum and Elsie Wiggins Mangum. He was predeceased by his parents and his younger siblings, Marilyn Mangum Searle and Walter Travis Mangum.

Ronald LeClair

Ronald Joseph LeClair, 91, of Harpswell (most recently a resident of Sunnybrook Senior Living in Brunswick), passed away on Nov. 22, 2025, from a cardiac event. He was born in Waterville on Feb. 5, 1934, the son of the late Alfred and Victoria (Bechard) LeClair. He was predeceased by his sister, Virginia (LeClair) McGhee, and her husband, John.

Sarah Sparks

Sarah L. Sparks, 89, died on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, at home after a brief illness. She was born in Sebasco, Phippsburg, on April 24, 1936, the daughter of Archie and Grace Gomes Alexander.

Yvette Dostie

Yvette Dostie, 95, died Sept. 30 in Punta Gorda, Florida. She was the third of seven children, born in Lewiston, Maine, on Dec. 12, 1929, to Napoleon and Bernice (Guite) Boucher, and a graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn. In 1949 she married Jules Dostie. Together they raised six children, grew the family jewelry business and made a family in Harpswell before retiring to Florida.

Dr. Douglas Hale

Dr. Douglas Fleming Hale, former professor of mathematics and computer science at The University of Texas Permian Basin, died Sept. 23, 2025, in Maine.

Peggy Logan

On Sept. 7, Margaret Elizabeth "Peggy" Miller Logan, of Harpswell Neck, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side and a gentle breeze coming in off Widgeon Cove.
