Sadly, Sheila Venard has lost her 20-year battle with breast cancer. She passed away at her home in Harpswell on April 25 in the presence of her husband, Bob Venard, and two daughters, Erin Venard, of Waltham, Massachusetts, and Emma Venard, of Phoenix, Arizona.

Susan Kay (Luciani) Luce, age 73, died Thursday, Jan. 5, at Maine Medical Center, Portland, with her husband by her side.

Nancy Schulze Andersen, 78, peacefully passed away Jan. 20, 2023, at the Hillhouse Assisted Living Facility in Bath, after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer.

Peter Blue, 87, of Harpswell, died after a short illness on Jan. 21. He was a professional pianist, arranger, accompanist, conductor and music director in the various genres of jazz, pop, country and classical music.

Hamilton P. Starr, 78, died Jan. 17 in his home on the hill on Bailey Island with his children by his side. He was born in 1945 to parents, Hezekiah and Dorothy Starr.

Harpswell – Raymond Ludger Tetreault, 85, peacefully passed away Friday, Feb. 3, at his home in the company of his loving family.

Violet Ann Tetreault, 82, peacefully passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, at her home in the company of her loving family.

Margaret Christine (Lindquist) Schultz, age 92, passed away on December 31, 2022, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, MA. Born in Bessemer, Alabama, she was the daughter to the late Constance (Fyock) and Louis T. Lindquist, and was the wife of the late Stanley W. Schultz.

Robert Joseph McIntyre was born on April 17, 1941, in Oak Park, Illinois, and died Jan. 4, 2023, in Harpswell. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grinnell College, a Master of Arts degree from Cornell University, and a doctorate from the University of North Carolina.

Daniel Harold Smith, 78, died on Nov. 22, peacefully at home. He was born in Brunswick on Dec. 6, 1943, a son of Harold and Lillian M. Smith. Daniel graduated from Brunswick High School.
