Rural Maine towns are notorious for narrow roads and no sidewalks. That’s part of the charm. (See October letter: “Can’t walk safely on 24.”)

I can hear the boys at the DOT giggling over this request.

Harpswell boasts over 20 miles of scenic trails. They’re free.

The reference to swimming with sharks is tone-deaf.
