Golek does the job well

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Over the last five years, I’ve had the privilege to work in the State House with and for union workers. During the last four, I’ve been able to speak with Rep. Cheryl Golek, learn about her policy positions and legislative poise, and get to know her as a person and a neighbor. We have shared many discussions about issues working people are facing today.

She listens. She asks questions. She acts.

Cheryl has an authentic curiosity and ferocity about her that’s not common enough in Augusta. She knows the systemic barriers too many Mainers struggle to overcome, and she knows them intimately. I’ve listened to her down-to-earth speeches. I’ve felt her commitment to providing justice to the underserved. I’ve seen her work effectively as a legislator. Her job is not done.

In this race, Golek brings the biggest toolbox to solve problems in Augusta compared to any other candidate, by a lot.

Cheryl takes her job and her power as a state representative incredibly seriously, and she does the job well. She also sports a 100% pro-worker voting record.

Cheryl is constantly working to uplift the needs of our community. She is constantly working to make sure Maine state government is a good steward of our tax dollars. She works hard to see that money invested in our working people, children and seniors. Her work has provided and will continue to provide tangible improvements in Mainers’ lives. Don’t believe me? Read her carefully written newsletters.

Maine would sooner become a better place to live if only more people in the State House shared Cheryl’s wisdom and tenacity.

This dirigo Mainer with wit, heart and humor is giving us the opportunity to reelect her. I hope my neighbors make sure to do just that on Nov. 3.
