John Gormley’s article, “‘Welcome to the fishing grounds’: A journey with a tuna harpooner,” in the Anchor’s August edition, was fascinating. Please publish more pieces like this about the varied activities and challenges for our Harpswell residents engaged in the overall fishing industry.

Stories like Gormley’s help educate us landlubbers to more deeply appreciate our town slogan: “Harpswell: A working waterfront community.”
