Local news, local people, local stories

A better product!

The town of Harpswell is in the process of fixing and updating the road on which I live. Town planners, architects and contractors have begun to create a reality that will be an improvement.

Although late in the process, residents of this road have been asked for, and have eagerly offered, comments regarding the important issue of public safety. During a Zoom meeting, many thoughtful insights, observations and questions were shared.

I have no doubt that the ultimate outcome of the project will be much better because of the local input. This type of participation is one of the many blessings of small-town life for which I am thankful.
