Well versed in chowders

We look forward to the opening of the new Corner Market and what sounds like a variety of tasty food.

The new owners mentioned hiring summer help. We hope they will hire a Harpswell resident who will be able to fill their needs — perhaps a high school student who is in the culinary arts program at Region 10.

If such a person is unavailable, there are many hardworking, experienced residents in Harpswell from whom to choose. And some are excellent cooks well versed in making chowders.
