A special and fun event

The Harpswell Community Garden would like to thank the organizations, individuals and businesses that celebrated its 10th anniversary on July 30, specifically, The Dolphin Restaurant, Pammy’s Ice Cream Parlor, the Harpswell Garden Club and Harpswell Honey for wonderful door prizes; Harpswell Aging at Home’s  Lili Ott and Julie Moulton, Simply Susie’s Catering and Paul Weeden for delicious snacks; and the Harpswell Recreation and Community Services Committee, HAH and the Harpswell Conservation Commission for activities and exhibits, along with Harpswell Heritage Land Trust, the Harpswell Garden Club and the Harpswell Invasive Plant Project.

Special thanks to Paul Weeden for the herbal snack exhibit, Judith Stanton for the honeybee observation hive, Matt Newberg and Hearts of Gold for the great live music, and all the volunteers who made this a very special and fun event on a hot afternoon!
