Doris Darling

Doris E. (Smith) Darling, 93, passed peacefully on July 16, 2025. A lifelong resident of coastal Maine, Doris made her home in Cundy's Harbor, cherishing the Harpswell islands as her beloved sanctuary.

Marge Hall

Marjorie Youker "Marge" Hall passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, on Orr's Island, at the age of 85. Marge was married for 61 years to her beloved husband, John; was an amazing mom to her children, Colby (wife Jill) and Megan (husband Craig); and was a fun and caring grandma to Corbin, Onyx, Clara, and Riley.

Leslie Albert McNelly

Leslie Albert McNelly was born in Smyrna, Maine, on Sept. 5, 1940, the son of Harold Edgar and Mabel Anne (Lilley) McNelly. He grew up in Dyer Brook, Maine, with his brothers, Edwin Lyle and Glenn Eugene, and died at the age of 84 at home with family on Bailey Island in Harpswell, Maine, on Nov. 12, 2024, after a battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

William David Jack II

William David Jack II, M.D., 84, died suddenly on May 24. He was the son of Ralph Willis Jack, M.D., and Ruth Garland Jack, and was born Feb. 15, 1941, in Miami Beach, Florida.

Janet ‘Katherine’ Chatterjee

Katherine passed away peacefully at home in Harpswell on May 18, 2025, next to the ocean she loved dearly. She was a unique and caring mother, sister, "GRM K," aunt, daughter, wife and friend, and had a special interest in all things intellectual, as evidenced by the many stimulating conversations she initiated.

James Stephen Henderson

James "Jim" Henderson died suddenly in Harpswell on April 18, 2025. Jim was born in the St. Albans neighborhood of Queens, New York, on June 27, 1941, to Francis B. Henderson, a dock worker during World War II, and Helen (Dane) Henderson, a daughter of recent Polish immigrants.

Susan Radomski

Susan Marie Radomski, 75, of Orr's Island, Maine, died peacefully at home on McMaster Lane on April 12, 2025, shortly after being diagnosed with a brain tumor.

John Clement Davis III

John Clement Davis III, known to many as Jock, was born on April 5, 1935, in Norwalk, Connecticut, and spent most of his 90 years in Harpswell, Maine. He passed away peacefully, though unexpectedly, on April 7 at Maine Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
