Marge Hall

Marjorie Youker “Marge” Hall passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, on Orr’s Island, at the age of 85. Marge was married for 61 years to her beloved husband, John; was an amazing mom to her children, Colby (wife Jill) and Megan (husband Craig); and was a fun and caring grandma to Corbin, Onyx, Clara, and Riley.

The daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Mortimer Alexander Youker, Marge grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, with her sisters, Celeste, Betsy, and Sarah. Upon graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University, Marge traveled the world as a stewardess for TWA. After Marge and John were married in 1964, Marge worked as an administrative assistant, travel agent and teacher.

For most of her life, Marge enjoyed a variety of sports. She was a member of her high school field hockey team and an avid tennis player throughout her adult life. She also enjoyed skiing with her family, and, in her 40s, she joined a soccer team where she was selected as captain by her much younger teammates! In later years, Marge loved creating art and making her painted picket-fence fish, which she gifted to special people in her life and sold in shops in Maine and Vermont.

Anyone who had the good fortune to know Marge had the blessing of her thoughtfulness, sense of humor and kindness. Above all, Marge cherished her roles of being a wonderful mom, grandma, wife and friend.

A private memorial service will be held in the mountains of Colorado this fall.
