Local educators receive classroom grants
The Mid-Coast Retired Educators Association awarded three $300 classroom grants to local educators during its Nov. 12 meeting at the Topsham Public Library.
Retired Harpswell educators still serving students
Between them, Pat Moody and Peg Newberg have probably taught most of Harpswell's residents. Moody was at West Harpswell School for 38 years and Newberg at Mt. Ararat Middle School for 25.
