Final draft of comprehensive plan ready for vote
Following the last public hearing about Harpswell's draft comprehensive plan on Aug. 16 at Harpswell Community School, the Comprehensive Plan Task Force met to consider the public comments made during the hearing and decide whether major changes to the plan were needed. The task force determined no major changes were required and forwarded the draft to the town for publication and distribution.

Task force revises comprehensive plan, sets community meetings
Following the postponement of the annual Town Meeting in March, the Harpswell Select Board decided to defer a vote on the town's new comprehensive plan until Nov. 4. The vote will be conducted by secret ballot instead of a show of cards at a meeting.
Public hearing scheduled to review draft comprehensive plan
The Harpswell Comprehensive Plan Task Force will host a public hearing and information session on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Harpswell Community School to review the revised draft plan. The event will start at 10 a.m.
