Frank Wright has been the one. He’s been the one volunteering to read aloud “The Hobbit” in your child’s classroom to an audience captivated by his character voices. He’s been the one showing up every Wednesday morning to teach your child how to play chess.

My letter is in response to the article “Push for short-term rental rules unlikely to ease housing costs.” Gleaning information from this article and from viewing each meeting of the newly formed Short-term Rental Policy Task Force, I am presenting my perspective on the topic.

We look forward to the opening of the new Corner Market and what sounds like a variety of tasty food. The new owners mentioned hiring summer help.

I wanted to personally send a big and wide thank you to everyone for their help after the Jan. 10 storm. To those who lent a hand during the storm, offered their boats, who used their boats, tools and physical manpower, thank you.
