Orr’s Islander makes dean’s list

Emma Boynton, a nursing major from Orr’s Island, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire.

To receive this honor, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.4 or better and complete at least 12 credits.

Maine Pines tennis coach wins state, regional awards

Jason Terry, director of racquets at Maine Pines Racquet & Fitness in Brunswick, has been recognized for his dedication to player development and community engagement with two major honors. Terry has been named the Maine Tennis Association's 2024 Adult Coaching Professional of the Year and the U.S. Tennis Association New England's 2025 Adult Coaching Professional of the Year.
