I am writing to acknowledge a wonderful lady.
Kathy D’Agostino is her name.
Her column is great. She shares stories of her life and delicious dishes to make. I have made some of her recipes, to my husband’s delight.
I first met Kathy and her husband, Frank, at the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Project. As volunteers, we shared the work of feeding and helping many good people.
Kathy has become a friend. We are always glad to see each other, picking up like no time has passed.
The Anchor is a great paper. I lived in Harpswell for 35 years, working the elections and bringing the first food truck to town.
I just want to say that there are so many women in town who care for others, and Harpswell Aging at Home serves great food at its lunches!
The town is special, and I will always be glad for my time in Harpswell.
