Our truth teller in Augusta

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I was rather pleased to know that former state Rep. Jay McCreight shares my positive thoughts concerning current state Rep. Cheryl Golek (“Golek helps people solve problems,” Harpswell Anchor, August 2026). McCreight penned a quite detailed account of Rep. Golek’s willingness to solve a wide variety of problems that influence the lives, not only of her district constituents, but also of citizens throughout Maine.

Given our current “me first” political climate, Rep. Golek is different. Why? She is an honest, hardworking, caring, straightforward individual who actively participates in the democratic process to assist her constituents in making their lives more meaningful, safe and productive. Ergo, we need to support her ongoing efforts in these worthwhile endeavors.

So, reelect Rep. Cheryl Golek, our truth teller and problem solver in Augusta, this November!
