2 Harpswell residents earn honors

Two Harpswell residents, Kaylynn Laplante and Madigan Saunders, have been named to the dean’s list at the University of New England for the spring semester.

Dean’s list students attained a grade-point average of 3.3 or better.

The University of New England is Maine’s largest independent university, with coastal campuses in Biddeford and Portland; a study-abroad campus in Tangier, Morocco; and an array of online offerings. It is the state’s top provider of health professionals and home to Maine’s only medical and dental colleges, as well as nationally recognized programs in nonmedical fields.
