From Robin Casey: Harpswell drivers: Please, please, please follow the rules of the road, especially on our narrow main roads! If someone or something is close to your side of the road, whether pedestrian, bicyclist or vehicle, you need to slow down or stop — not swerve into the oncoming lane without clearance to do so.

Over the past couple of years, I have had the privilege of speaking to thousands in our community. In those conversations, one issue stood out: the urgent need for affordable housing.

From Jim Laughren: Regarding Clark Cove, abutting property owners and others who oppose this plan have legitimate concerns regarding neighborhood and pedestrian safety, trespassing by foot or vehicle, and impact on critical wildlife habitat. Those in favor point to increased water access.
