Barbershop chorus seeks singers

The Nor’easters Barbershop Chorus invites all men who like to sing and can sing reasonably well to join the chorus for the Christmas season. The chorus will sing at various Midcoast locations during December, bringing cheer to many.

Rehearsals start Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. at Plant Memorial Home, 1 Washington St., Bath, in the recreation room on the first floor.

The Maine Women's Giving Tree is inviting nonprofits in the Southern Midcoast to submit letters of interest, the first step in its 2024 grant cycle. The Maine Women's Giving Tree makes grants to fellow nonprofits that focus on improving the lives of women, children or families in Bath, Brunswick, Freeport, Harpswell, Phippsburg, Topsham, Wiscasset and Woolwich.
