Holbrook Community Foundation to host community breakfast

On Labor Day, Sept. 6, from 7:30-10 a.m., the Holbrook Community Foundation will host a community breakfast on the scenic Holbrook Wharf in Cundy’s Harbor.

Friends and neighbors will gather to enjoy many locally made breakfast items, such as grits, quiche, sausage, bacon, potatoes, fruit, breads and sweets. There is no set charge for the breakfast, but donations will be accepted.

The breakfast is designed to support the mission of the Holbrook Community Foundation, which is to provide for the long-term protection of the coastal heritage of Harpswell by preserving Holbrook’s working waterfront, supporting commercial fishing in Harpswell, and providing opportunities for education about Harpswell’s marine environment for the benefit of the local community.
