Comprehensive Plan Task Force to host information sessions

The Harpswell Comprehensive Plan Task Force will host three information sessions in March to review the plan, answer questions and gather comments.

The meetings will be held at Cundy’s Harbor Community Hall on March 21 from 4-6 p.m., the Orr’s Island Schoolhouse on March 23 from 9:30-11:30 a.m., and Elijah Kellogg Church on March 24 from 2-4 p.m.

After more than two years of work, the task force will hold a public hearing on the plan at 6:30 p.m. on April 10 at Harpswell Community School, then send the plan to voters at a special Town Meeting in May.

The draft plan will soon be available at harpswell.maine.gov. Copies will be available for inspection at the Town Office, Cundy’s Harbor Library, Orr’s Island Library, and Curtis Memorial Library. For more information, go to bit.ly/Harpswell2024.
