Fighting for Harpswell and Brunswick

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Hello, my name is Braeden Webber. I’m writing because I’m running for District 99 (Harpswell and Brunswick) state representative.

I’m a Harpswell local whose family owns a construction, septic and lobstering business. As a member of the younger generation, I’m deeply concerned about the future of this state, particularly the issue of affordability.

I’ve noticed a significant number of my peers leaving Maine, which deeply saddens me. With my family’s legacy here, I’m determined to stay and build a future for myself and my family. However, the current economic state of our state makes it increasingly difficult for younger individuals like me to achieve this goal.

I want to fight for the towns of Harpswell and Brunswick to reduce costs and prioritize the well-being of this state.

Widespread "bravo" to many for the lead story in the May edition of the Harpswell Anchor. First of all, to J.W. Oliver for writing from a neutral perspective, something lost in journalism these days.
