Golek helps people solve problems

November and Election Day will be here before we know it, and I’ll proudly be voting to reelect Rep. Cheryl Golek.

One of the most important responsibilities of our Maine state legislators is helping people resolve problems. It’s called constituent service. Unfortunately, not all legislators take this seriously. Fortunately for those of us in Cheryl Golek’s district, she does!

I recently asked Rep. Golek for help with a question I couldn’t resolve myself. Needing answers about new policies related to access to community college, I contacted my representative, Cheryl Golek, for help. I received quick confirmation that she was “on it,” and very shortly, I got my answers. I know it wasn’t easy to get to the bottom of the issue, since the changes were brand new, but she persisted.

Rep. Golek does her job effectively and efficiently. She listens and she acts.

Please join me in voting to reelect our state representative for Harpswell and part of Brunswick, Cheryl Golek. If, like me, you ever need help to resolve problems or answer questions, Rep. Golek will do just that: She’ll help!

Jay McCreight, Harpswell
Former State Representative
