Roger Levasseur

Roger R. Levasseur, age 87, died at his home in Harpswell on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026.

He was born on April 22, 1939, in Topsham. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He worked for several years in construction before becoming a full-time lobsterman.

He was predeceased by a son, Gary Levasseur; and a daughter, Darreline Coffin.

He is survived by his loving wife, Roseline (Riendeau) Levasseur; a son, Roger Levasseur; a daughter, Gina Levasseur; three brothers, Paul Levasseur, Eugene Levasseur, and Henry Levasseur; a sister, Louise Smith; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Following Roger’s wishes, final arrangements will be observed privately by family. Memories and condolences can be shared at brackettfh.com.

Nancy Schulze Andersen, 78, peacefully passed away Jan. 20, 2023, at the Hillhouse Assisted Living Facility in Bath, after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer.
