Preserving access to treasured resource

Our many thanks for the support you’ve shown Friends of Barleyfield Point and our efforts over the past couple years — by donating money, baked goods and auction items, and by attending our benefit in April. (Thank you, Cook’s!)

We are simply a group of neighbors spurred to action by a threat to Barleyfield Point and the beach at Flag Cove. While the struggle has gone on longer than any of us anticipated — and is ongoing — we are committed to continuing to work on behalf of the community to ensure access to this treasured resource on Orr’s Island is preserved.

Amber Skinner, President, Friends of Barleyfield Point
