Gratitude to OBIFD and Wirenuts

I want to express my gratitude to the Orr’s and Bailey Islands Fire Department, which responded swiftly to an emergency call on Feb. 4, when I experienced a “brownout” and electrical smell in my house. They provided a warm spot in the ambulance while checking the house for carbon monoxide. They recommended I call Central Maine Power and an electrician.

Furthermore, I appreciate the quick and thorough work of Frank and Karl Hilton, of Wirenuts, who diagnosed the problem on Feb. 5 and took care of it before (and during) our snowstorm on Feb. 6. Such professional and timely service can be rare these days. They went above and beyond my expectations to ensure my safety and security.

Dyakuyu, School House 1913

Whether it's in English or Ukrainian, we owe a huge debt of gratitude and thanks to The School House 1913 restaurant. Their generosity was the keystone upon which Harpswell Supports Ukraine was built.
