Select Board incumbent wins reelection

Harpswell Select Board member David Chipman withstood a challenge from write-in candidate Jerry Leeman III to win reelection, 829 to 493, on Saturday, March 9.

Chipman, of Harpswell Neck, secured a three-year term. He has a decade of experience on the board, from 1999-2002 and 2017 to the present. Leeman, of Orr’s Island, is CEO of the New England Fishermen’s Stewardship Association and a former commercial fisherman.

Frank Wright IV won reelection to the Maine School Administrative District 75 Board of Directors for a three-year term with 1,068 votes. He was unopposed.
