Maine Women’s Giving Tree invites proposals

The Maine Women’s Giving Tree is inviting nonprofits in the Southern Midcoast to submit letters of interest, the first step in its 2024 grant cycle.

The Maine Women’s Giving Tree makes grants to fellow nonprofits that focus on improving the lives of women, children or families in Bath, Brunswick, Freeport, Harpswell, Phippsburg, Topsham, Wiscasset and Woolwich.

The deadline for letters of intent is 5 p.m. on Dec. 1. Letters should describe the grant proposal in one page.

Letters will be evaluated and organizations selected to submit grant applications. The Giving Tree expects to award grants in May 2024.

Last year, the Giving Tree awarded $100,000 to 18 organizations. For more information, go to mainewomensgivingtree.org.
