News intern wanted at Anchor

The Harpswell Anchor is seeking a news intern for the late spring and summer of 2023. Junior or senior standing in a collegiate journalism program is preferred, but not required.

The intern will assist with news coverage, gain experience at a newspaper, and build a portfolio of news and photography samples. The intern may assist with social media and special projects as opportunities arise.

The intern will receive the minimum wage of $13.80 per hour and mileage reimbursement at 45 cents per mile. Must have driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Must be available nights and weekends. Start and end times negotiable.
