After a two-year hiatus because of the pandemic, the Harpswell Garden Club is bringing back its popular fundraiser, the Fun and Fabulous Fall Fest. The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Centennial Hall in Harpswell Center.

The club will be selling a variety of fall mums and asters, its ever-popular baked goods, gardening gloves, and an assortment of “attic treasures.” Everything from books to garden-related objects will be sold at “flea market” prices.

Fall Fest serves as the club’s largest fundraiser. Proceeds benefit the club’s beautification projects, including the gardens at the Harpswell Town Office and Centennial Hall, the upkeep of the grounds and the maintenance of the historic Union Church, Maine’s only gold star garden at P-3 Park in Brunswick, and the gardens affiliated with the Brunswick Naval Aviation Museum.

Centennial Hall is at 936 Harpswell Neck Road in Harpswell. For more information about Fall Fest or to learn how to join the Garden Club, email harpswellgardenclub@gmail.com.
