Student Voices: Breaking ground on graduation

For many of us, graduations can be both exciting and sad. While we are beginning a new chapter, we are also having to end another. It's been a long road for me to get here, but on June 12, 2022, I finally graduated from Mt. Ararat High School.

Senior year of high school is often a bittersweet experience — on one hand, kids are getting their first real taste of freedom and independence as they apply to colleges or branch out into the workforce, but on the other hand, seniors often face anxiety as they look to the great looming future and say goodbye to life as they know it.

Student Voices: National Honor Society makes spirits bright

The Mount Ararat National Honor Society has been very active in the community over the past few months. Under the direction of chapter advisor Rob Messier, President Megan Reed and Vice President Fern Beede, the group has completed a number of service projects to better the community.

Student Voices: A little compassion goes a long way

In the fall of 2020, Mount Ararat High School opened a brand-new campus on Eagles Way. In the past year, not only have we gotten a new school, but we have also gotten a new principal, new teachers, new school board members and, for the first time in almost two years, the entire student body has been back together in school five days a week.
