Support library at Mitchell Field

The Harpswell Neck Library is looking for a new home! We have books, DVDS and computers. We envision a comfortable and quiet space to work in, perhaps with a meeting room where students can get tutoring. A donor has come forward to provide funds for the renovation and repurposing of the administration building at Mitchell Field.

A survey from the Mitchell Field Committee is going to be enclosed with your property tax bill. The survey is to get a sense of how Mitchell Field can be fully utilized for our community. I am writing to ask for your support for a library at Mitchell Field. There is an excellent article on Page 16 of the August Anchor and online that breaks down the survey into sections and clarifies each one.

We hope you will support a library in the administration building at Mitchell Field by writing in “Harpswell Neck Library” on the survey. If you have any questions and concerns, please feel free to email harpswelllibrary@gmail.com. Like us on Facebook at Harpswell Neck Library Association.

Thanks so much!

Elaine Baur, Member, Harpswell Neck Library Association
