Smoke detectors available for deaf, hard of hearing

Anyone in need of smoke detectors for the deaf and hard of hearing is being encouraged to request the devices through the town’s safety department.

The detectors will be available free, with installation, courtesy of the American Red Cross. To make a request, contact Harpswell Fire Administrator Art Howe at 207-833-5771 ext. 126 or ahowe@town.harpswell.me.us with the name, address and phone number of the individual in need.
