Service announcement: Margaret Wetzel

Margaret Wetzel, 96, of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Harpswell, Maine, passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 16 after a short illness.

There will be a celebration of life for Margaret’s family and friends in the Maine area at 10 a.m. on July 27 at Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick. Stetson’s is in charge of arrangements.

Please join the family following the service at Margaret’s summer home, 66 Potts Point Road, Harpswell.

Katherine passed away peacefully at home in Harpswell on May 18, 2025, next to the ocean she loved dearly. She was a unique and caring mother, sister, "GRM K," aunt, daughter, wife and friend, and had a special interest in all things intellectual, as evidenced by the many stimulating conversations she initiated.

Olcott Toothaker

Olcott "Tubba" Toothaker, 78, formerly of Harpswell, passed away at home in Brunswick on May 28. Tubba was born in Maine to Lucile Grover and Stanley Toothaker on Sept. 15, 1945, graduated from Brunswick High School, and married Linda Bernier at age 24 on Sept. 27, 1969.
