John I. Bibber

John I. Bibber, aged 62, of Harpswell, Maine passed away unexpectedly at Midcoast Hospital on April 8, 2025.

John was born in Harpswell in 1963 to Charles and Beverly Baker Bibber. He was a well-known person in Harpswell. He truly fit the term “Jack of all trades, master at many.” He was very knowledgeable with cars, boats, etc. He was a man who could repair anything, from a furnace to a well.

John was owner and operator of B&B Water Systems for several years. In his younger years he was a fisherman and loved being out on the water. He was also a mason.

He enjoyed his animals, riding his trike, chatting with friends on ham radio, showing and drag racing his “Stella” and helping anyone who needed a hand. John was a truly kind and generous man, and one of a kind.

In addition to his partner Carolyn, John is survived by his sister Teeter Bibber of Harpswell; his nephews Nathaniel, Jonathan and Ben; his niece Jayme Louise and family of Penn; his nephew Leonard Myers and family of Penn; as well as many other nephews, nieces and cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Butch Bibber and sister Dana (Bibber) Myers.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a future date.

He will be greatly missed, forever and a day.
