Margaret Schultz

Margaret Christine (Lindquist) Schultz, age 92, passed away on December 31, 2022, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, MA. Born in Bessemer, Alabama, she was the daughter to the late Constance (Fyock) and Louis T. Lindquist, and was the wife of the late Stanley W. Schultz. She and Stanley lived in various towns in Connecticut, then went on to live in Sudbury and Maynard, MA. She worked for many years in document preparation for Digital Equipment Corporation before retiring in 1988, and moving to Harpswell, ME, a place that she absolutely loved, and in 2021 she moved to Cornerstone at Canton, MA.

Margaret was a 50-year member, Order of the Eastern Star, Magdalene Chapter No. 28, Maynard, MA, and also Pioneer Chapter No. 11, Lisbon Falls, ME. She loved her family, had many friends, and was always quick to volunteer to help. She enjoyed cooking and was a prize-winning baker. She loved music, sewing and quilting, and was inquisitive, always wanting to learn new things right up to the end of her life.

Margaret is survived by her children Stanley W. Schultz, Jr. and his wife Rhonda of Stoughton, MA, Barbara Fitzgerald of Burke, VA, Connie Danke and her husband Hans of Arcadia, MI, and Norman Schultz and his wife Sheila of West Springfield, MA. She also leaves behind her sister Geraldine Ennis of Bessemer, AL, as well as her 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held by the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27), Stoughton, MA 02072.
